Mary J. Blige recently had an interview with the New Orleans Time-Picayune. She was promoting her new perfume and decided to talk a litlle bit about future plans while saying that she is going to college at Howard University.

According to Mary, she recently got her high school diploma and was accepted to Howard. However the truth was that she had only completed the form process for admission and waiting for their answer. The Howard university put out the information that they are glad about the plans of Ms.Blige but no answer is given yet.

It was a strange move from Mary J. Blige as it seems that she hadn’t been accepted to school before this. She also boast of her studies in Howard during her attendance in “Good Morning America”. However now we can’t see this video as it has been removed since then.

Interesting thing happened after this. It was released by Blidge’s rep that she is accepted to the University, however she had change her mind.
