Janet Jackson Leaving Def Jam – Janet Jackson is apparently leaving Island Def Jam Music Group according to Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Rodney said:
“We didn’t get the support from the record company.” “[Janet] felt like it wasn’t pushed. I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly. She just didn’t get her just dues as an artist of that magnitude.”
Christina Milian has officially signed a recording contract with with MySpace Records after being dumped by Def Jam back in 2006.Christina’s first album for Myspace will be out in the early spring of 2009.Christina explained:
